Adam Grotzinger, Vice President, Portfolio Specialist, Franklin Templeton Fixed IncomeAdam is Vice President and Portfolio Specialist responsible for product management of Franklin Templeton Fixed Income Group’s global and European fixed income strategies managed in London.
He joined Franklin Templeton in 2003 as a Futures Associate. Adam graduated cum laude from the University of Vermont with a B.S. in International Business. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of San Francisco (CFASF).
Peter Harvey, Head of Credit, Cazenove CapitalPeter Harvey joined Cazenove Capital in 2005. He is Head of Credit with specific responsibility for credit strategy and managing the Cazenove Strategic Bond Fund and Cazenove Strategic Debt Fund. Peter joined from F&C Management Ltd where he had been Head of UK Credit. Over the five years to December 2004, Peter was ranked in the top decile of Standard & Poor’s UK Corporate Bond league table. During his eleven years at F&C, Peter also ran funds covering emerging market corporate bonds, high yield and distressed debt. Before joining F&C, Peter spent three years with Lloyds Bank Capital Markets Group. He graduated with a 2.1 degree from the University of St Andrews and speaks Spanish fluently. Peter is a Director of Cazenove Capital and has 19 years of experience analysing and investing in corporate debt.
Ben Hayward, Partner and Portfolio Manager, TwentyFour Asset ManagementBefore founding TwentyFour, Ben was a partner and portfolio manager at
Synapse Investment Management. Prior to this Ben spent nine years working for
Citigroup Alternative Investments in London where he was a Director on the
Investment Team. Ben managed four portfolios, comprising $75bn of asset-backed
and credit securities.Prior to working on the Investment Team, Ben worked on
both the Treasury desk and in Independent Control.
Before working at Citigroup, Ben worked at KPMG London in Banking Audit and
Corporate Recovery.
Mark Holman, Founder and Managing Partner, TwentyFour Asset ManagementBefore founding TwentyFour, Mark was one of the original partners of Synapse
Investment Management which he founded along with Graeme Anderson in June 2006.
Prior to that, Mark was a Managing Director at Barclays Capital in London where
he established and led various units of its European fixed income distribution
business.
Mark joined Barclays Capital in March 1999. Prior to that, he was an executive
director at Lehman Brothers where for 5 years he played a key role in helping
Lehman establish their European Credit Business. Mark began his investment
banking career in 1990 with Morgan Stanley in fixed income.
Ian Kenny, Smith & WilliamsonIan joined Smith & Williamson in 1997. As a member of the well-established Fixed Interest team, Ian has fund management responsibilities for a number of institutional funds. He is also the fund manager on the £110m Smith & Williamson Short-Dated Corporate Bond Fund. Ian graduated from the University of Reading with a BSc in Human Geography and an MSc in International Business & Economic Development. Ian qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2001, and is also a Member of the Securities Institute and a CFA Charterholder.
Chris Lynas, Smith & WilliamsonChris joined Smith & Williamson in 1990. As well as heading up the Fixed Interest team, running specialist fixed interest mandates for pension funds, trusts and VCTs, Chris has been the fund manager for the Smith & Williamson Fixed Interest Trust since 1998 and the manager for the Smith & Williamson Absolute Return Fund since 2005. Chris also has responsibility for the £110m Smith & Williamson Short-Dated Corporate Bond Fund alongside the fund manager, Ian Kenny. Chris began his career in investment at Hoare Govett in 1986. He is a Fellow of the Securities Institute.
Simon Thorp, Head of Fixed Income, LiontrustSimon launched Liontrust’s credit hedge fund in 2000. He gained significant fixed income markets experience while working in a variety of senior trading and management roles such as chief executive at Exco, co-head of global fixed income at NatWest Markets, head of sterling bond trading at Salomon Brothers and trading various fixed income assets at SG Warburg and at Akroyd & Smithers.
